DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER  ENGINEERING

The Computer Engineering Department was established in 1989 with the goal of producing skilled engineers in areas such as programming, system software, artificial intelligence, database systems, networking, cloud computing, and machine learning. The department is accredited by AICTE and affiliated with Goa University. It received NBA Provisional Accreditation for two years from September 18, 2013, and NBA Accreditation for a three-year period (2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25), valid until June 30, 2025.

The department offers a comprehensive Undergraduate program in Computer Engineering and a Postgraduate program in Computer Science and Engineering. It provides state-of-the-art computing facilities for students and is supported by a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty members with active involvement in research.

The department also has a student association, CURSOR, which organizes various technical events, including state and national-level competitions, workshops, and seminars. Additionally, it has strong industry partnerships with over 20 companies that offer placements and internships to students. As a result, the department’s graduates are highly skilled and in demand, making them the top choice for employers in the state.

M1: Impart knowledge and skill based training in both theoretical and applied foundations of Computer engineering and allied fields
