Attention of the New Students Joining GEC are drawn on the following points. Please read all instructions carefully before visiting admission counter at GEC.

  • New admitted Students are required to register their names at Goa College of Engineering, Academic Section (Ground Floor). Please fill the New Students Registration form issued at Admission Centre, DTE, Porvorim, and bring along the copies of Admit Card issued by DTE, copies of SSC & XII Mark sheet & two Notarized Affidavits on HUNDRED rupees non-judicial stamp paper for anti ragging act duly signed by Parent and concerned student, Four colored recent passport size photograph which are required for admission process. STUDENTS NEED TO FILL UP GCET RANK AND PM SCORE DETAILS IN THE NEW STUDENT REGISTARTION FORM. The staffs at GEC-Academic office will enter all details in the Student Database and will acknowledge the registration and issue Provisional Registration Slip.
  • As per latest AICTE guidelines, each student in the campus needs to be insured. Hence newly admitted students are required to open an S.B account with Campus Bank (Corporation Bank). Arrangements have been made with the bank to issue campus ATM card cum identity card. The college will take care of Group insurance of students through the student bank account. You need to fill up Bank Account opening form at the bank counter and submit the copy of Provisional Registration Slip issued by the college for opening Bank Account.   • The regular classes will start from 29/06/2015. The time tables will be displayed on main NOTICE BOARD/GEC WEB
  • The Registration No. will be used for recording attendance till Roll No. is allotted. Roll No, will be allotted after final round of admission process.
  • Students desiring Hostel Accommodation may fill up the Hostel request form and submit at the inward section in the college main office. Allotment shall be subject to availability. Blank hostel application forms are available at student's co-operative society on all working days. .
  • The College maintains regular bus transport facility between GEC Campus to Ponda City. The bus time table will be made available to students by College Office/Training and Placement Cell and will be displayed on college Notice Boards.
  • The Identity Card will be issued to the students by the Academic Section only after final round of admission. All students will be issued login id and password to login to GEC Management Information System (GEC-MIS) on which student can login and see all details pertaining to Academics, examinations, results, certificates, attendance. The facility is available only in the GEC campus over INTRANET.
  • Students passed 12th Std from other than Goa Board required to submit ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE from Goa University within 15 days.
