• Prasad Honvar ,Shashank Saudagar won 1st place in technical quiz at Geekwiz 2016 National Level Technical  Quiz at Rosary College, Navelim, Goa
• Two teams from Goa College of Engineering (GEC) were shortlisted in the finals of the 'Software Edition' of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2018. The contest was an initiative of the Union ministry of human resource development and  All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
